Normal people would have been horrified in this situation. A normal person would be petrified with fear. A normal person would use the flashlight that now dangled from your pack, frantically pointing it in the direction of anything that made a noise. But then again, you weren't exactly a normal person. In fact, you were hardly even a person. At least, that's how you felt anyways. The light from the full moon illuminates your surroundings. A flashlight would only serve to ruin this scene. You think t yourself. Always casting unnecessary shadows.  But the scene is already ruined. Somewhere there is a hunter. And you were his prey.  A noise like thunder roars in your ears, and you hit the ground.  No wounds. You're still fine. And that's when you feel it. A wet drizzle signaling the beginning of a downpour. That noise didn't just sound like thunder. It was thunder, but something was off. Why were there no clouds?
This is my second freehand an obviously much worse. not only was the story bad but the punctuation is terrible. On well I guess I'll just have to work on that then. I call this one "normal people"
